Your privacy and the security of your personal information are important to Airhub. This privacy notice explains how we get and utilise personal data about you both during and after our business relationship.

Data protection officer at Airhub

When Airhub gathers, uses, or transmits your personal data for its own purposes, it does so in the capacity of a data controller.

What kinds of private data do we gather?

When you use the Website (such as by visiting the Website pages, the blog, downloading case studies, watching videos on the Website, and viewing infographics provided on the Website), when you subscribe to the newsletter or any other emailing list, when you submit any requests through the Website (such as by filling out the sales contact or white paper download form), when you attend a webinar, when you take an online survey, or when you access a white paper, Airhub collects your personal data.

Airhub occasionally collects personal information from vendors, distributors, and business partners.

The information below is processed by Airhub in relation to you:

Identification information, such as a person’s first and surname name, job title, email address, company name, and business phone number; connection information (including the date and time the website was accessed as well as IP address, operating system, region, and language);  data on activity (such as the number and the Website pages you visited, if you send a request through a form provided by the Website).

Why do we handle your personal data?

When you have given your approval, Airhub utilises your personal information to send you marketing messages (including emails) about goods and/or services.

Your personal information will be used by Airhub for the following purposes, including but not limited to: Website visitors and prospects management, with respect to the access to the Website, to any of its pages, and to the services provided; provide information and enable communication with our teams; operate our Website, give you access to it and to its features; and promote our activities and services to better understand how you use the website, enhance its features;

Implement Airhub-specific marketing initiatives, such as e-mail campaigns, newsletters, and product and/or service information.

Additionally, Airhub uses your personal information to comply with the laws to which it is subject, such as to keep business records for reasonable amounts of time as required by applicable tax and other laws.

Information Disclosure and Sharing:

Personal data will only be accessible by those who need it, according to Airhub. This access will be restricted to the parts of the personal data required to carry out the task for which it has been given.

To fulfil your requests for materials, goods, or services made through the Website and/or to carry out any agreements made with Airhub, Airhub may be required to reveal personal information about you (including support services).

Your personal information may be used and disclosed for reasons that are similar to those listed in this privacy statement by assignees or successors of Airhub, our business, or our assets.

With your permission, Airhub will also divulge your personal information if obliged to do so by law, to uphold our Terms of Use, in an emergency, or to safeguard the safety of any individual, the general public, or our website.

Transfers of data internationally:

Because Airhub conducts business internationally, it may divulge and transfer certain personal data to a foreign nation.

EU data subjects: Airhub may transmit your personal information to Airhub organisations and third-party service providers based outside of the European Union (“EU”).

All Airhub data importers outside the EU are required to process and protect all personal data received from the EU in accordance with the controller-to-controller standard contractual clauses (the “Clauses”), as approved by the European Commission, in order to comply with EU data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By putting in place the security measures required by the relevant data protection law, the transfers of data to third-party service providers are protected (including contractual arrangements with a third-party service provider).

The preservation of personal data:

According to our policy, we only keep your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was obtained and no longer than is permitted by the relevant data protection regulations.

We will keep your personal information for no longer than the longer of, as appropriate, the following periods: three years from the date the personal information was collected, or sooner if you object to the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes; the time necessary to establish, perform, and terminate any contractual relationship you may have had with Airhub; the time necessary to process your requests the appropriate statute of limitations’s term.

Rights with relation to your personal data

You may be able to exercise the following rights as a data subject:

Right of access: The ability to ask Airhub to confirm whether it is processing any personal information about you.

This includes the right to access such personal data, obtain a copy of it for free (absent excessive or repeated requests), and receive a description of the key aspects of the processing carried out in relation to your personal data, such as: I the purposes of such processing, (ii) the categories of personal data concerned, (iii) the recipients or categories of recipients of personal data, (iv) the envisaged retention period or, if not possible, the criterion for data deletion.

If your personal data were not obtained directly from you, you are entitled to the following information: (vi) The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority; (vii) Information about any third party sources of personal data; and (viii) Knowledge of the existence, the reasoning behind, the importance of, and the results of any automated decisions, including profiling.

If you live in the EU and your personal data is moved outside of the EU, you have the right to know what protections have been put in place to protect that transfer.

Right to rectification: The ability to have incomplete, incorrect, or out-of-date personal information on you rectified without undue delay.

Right to erasure: The ability to have your personal data erased without undue delay in the following situations: I when the data is no longer required for the purpose(s) for which it was collected or otherwise processed; (ii) when you withdraw the consent that was the basis for the processing and there are no other legal justifications; (iii) when you object to the processing as described below; (iv) when your personal data has been unlawfully processed; and (v) when your personal data

In some circumstances, Airhub may decline such a request, particularly when the requested data is required to meet a legal need.

Right to restriction: The ability to limit how your personal data is processed in the following circumstances: I when you claim that the personal data we are processing is inaccurate (the restriction is provided for a period allowing Airhub to verify the accuracy); (ii) when the processing appears to be unlawful and you request a restriction on how your personal data is used instead of erasure; and (iii) when Airhub does not require such personal data for the purposes of the requested restriction.

Right to object: The ability to object to the processing of your personal data, including its use for marketing purposes and any resulting profiling, at any time and for reasons that are connected to your specific situation.

Right to data portability: You have the right to ask Airhub to: I provide you with your personal data in a structured, commonly-used, and machine-readable format so that you can further transmit it to another data controller; or (ii) directly transmit it to such other data controller where the processing is based on your consent or a sales contract, and where such processing is carried out by automated means.

Right to withdraw consent: In cases where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to do so at any time (subject to any contractual or legal restrictions that may be in place) without impairing the legality of processing that was based on your consent up until the time you exercised it.

Right to file a complaint: The ability to file a complaint with the appropriate oversight body.
